Shooting Flowers

You can get as creative as you like with any subject. Instead of shooting flowers in the garden, try setup something like this in studio. Shot with 2 lights. One from the side a bit forward onto the subject and one with coloured gel on the white background. Dunk the flower in the water as you take the photo to get the bubbles (this will take a few tries to get right). NB: Keep your glass tank clean or you will end up with spots all over the show! Have fun and be prepared to mess a bit of water.

Here is the setup:

Side note: that 3rd light in the background on the right of the image is not in use, it was just standing there 🙂
